Redirects & Error Pages

To review the 404/403 errors from incoming links, your redirects, error pages and the robots.txt file, access the Settings option in the top navigation menu of the CMS interface then click Redirects & Error Pages.

Tip
Click on the tabs to access different settings areas. You can recognize which tab you are on by color association, e.g., if you click on the red tab, all the boxes located right beneath the tab bar will turn red.

The functions of these buttons are universal in any list box:

 - orders the item list ascending or descending.

 - deletes any item.

 - triggers the edit section of any item.

The Redirects tab: find, edit or create new URL redirects

Use the Search option located right above the list box to find redirects by source, 301/302 destination and/or by code.

Select multiple redirects and use the Delete button located in the upper-right corner of the list box to mass delete redirects.

Use the Add New Record button located in the upper-right corner of the list box to create a new redirect.

The Errors tab: find, delete or redirect 404/403 errors

Use the Search option located right above the list box to find errors by source and/or by code.

Use the Flush Errors button located in the upper-right corner of the list box to delete all errors.

Select multiple errors and use the Delete button located in the upper-right corner of the list box to mass delete errors.

The Error Pages tab: edit the 404/403 error pages or create new ones

 Use the Add New Record button located in the upper-right corner of the list box to create a new type of error page.

Tip
By default, all sections of the error page have their own default generic layout. You can change the layout of any section, content and/or footer, by clicking the Settings tab > Edit button. In the Advanced Settings box, select a layout from the corresponding dropdown list then click the Save button. To create a custom layout, learn more about the Layouts section.

The Robots.txt tab: edit the robots.txt file

Use the Edit/Save buttons located in the upper-right corner of the Robots.txt section to set instructions.
