Global Settings

To make changes that affect the entire website, access the Settings option in the top navigation menu of the CMS interface then click Global Settings.

Tip
Click on the tabs to access different settings areas. You can recognize which tab you are on by color association, e.g., if you click on the orange tab, all the boxes located right beneath the tab bar will turn orange.

The Settings tab: branding, custom codes, advanced settings and localization

Use the Edit/Save buttons located in the upper-right corner of the section to:

  • Upload your website's logo and favicon.
  • Set your preferred domain version (www or non-www).
  • Choose between HTTP and HTTPS protocols for your public and/or protected pages (only available to logged in users).
  • Optimize your page speed (minify, concatenate, no cache CSS and/or JS code).
  • Select your time zone.
  • Globally append any valid HTML code to all pages of your website in the or container.
Tip

The Static Texts tab: edit the global text variables (frontend static texts)

Use the Search option located right above the list box to find static texts by variable or value.

Use the Add New Record button located in the upper-right corner of the list box to create a new global text variable.

Use these buttons to:

 - order the global text variable list ascending or descending.

 - delete any global text variable.

 - trigger the edit section of any global text variable.

The Google tab: link to Search Console and Analytics

Use the Edit/Save buttons located in the upper-right corner of the section to:

  • Enter the HTML meta tag provided in your Google Search Console account.
  • Enable or disable the linking with your Google Analytics account and enter the tracking ID, select between the two versions of Google Analytics (Classic and Universal) or choose to create a custom script.

The Bing tab: link to Webmaster Tools

Use the Edit/Save buttons located in the upper-right corner of the section to enter the HTML meta tag provided in your Bing Webmaster Tools account.

The Facebook tab: login and comments application

Use the Edit/Save buttons located in the upper-right corner of the section to:

  • Enable or disable the application.
  • Enter the App ID and App Secret.
  • Set one or more administrators to moderate the comments by typing in their Admin ID separated by comma.
