Shortcodes
This is where you can edit all the predefined shortcodes or create custom ones.
There are two shortcode types you can insert in any editable text field:
- the custom ones you manually define here.
- the auto-generated ones that display widgets and various media inserts.
Shortcodes tab
Use the Add New button located in the upper-right corner of the Shortcodes list box to create a new shortcode.
In the Shortcodes list box, use these buttons to:
- order the shortcode list ascending or descending (click the column titles).
- delete any shortcode.
- trigger the edit section of any shortcode.
Whenever you want to copy & paste a shortcode without leaving the page you're working on, access the Tools option in the top menu of the CMS interface then click Shortcode Library.
