CTA
This is where you can add, edit and assign calls to action to your pages (modules).
A CTA is a content area that you can assign to pages and position outside their module and footer sections, which allows for the acquisition funnel to be managed separately from the rest of the site; learn more about the front-end page structure.
Click the tabs to access different settings and content areas. You can recognize which tab you are on by color association, e.g. if you click the light green tab, all the boxes below the tab bar will be light green.
CTA tab
Use the Add New button located in the upper-right corner of the CTA list box to add a new call to action.
The mandatory Admin Note field is not displayed on the front end, it only keeps CTAs organized in the back end.
You can choose from two content types:
- classic: ready-made design with optional text, image and link buttons.
- raw html: an editor useful for inserting widgets via shortcodes (or whatever you want).
Set the CTA position: above the page, above the module, below the module or below the page.
Select the background of your CTA from the corresponding drop-down list. You must upload these backgrounds globally in the Backgrounds section before they become available here.
In the CTA list box, use these buttons to:
- order the CTA list ascending or descending (click the column titles).
- delete any CTA.
- trigger the edit section of any CTA.
- CTAs assigned to specific pages will overwrite any existing ones set for all pages.
- If you have multiple CTAs assigned to the same specific page or to all pages, the system will randomly display one of them on each reload.
Widgets tab
These are dynamic widgets that handle the same content as the module they are based on, but the way they display it can be different if you add an extra CSS class or background.
- Use CTA widgets to insert calls to action in any module or footer layout with a simple drag & drop.
- Use the auto-generated shortcodes of the CTA widgets in any editable text field to insert calls to action throughout your site.
