SEO & Redirects

This is where you can switch between HTTP/HTTPS, manage collected aliases & errors, create redirects and edit the error pages, robots.txt file & sitemap.

Click the tabs to access different settings and content areas. You can recognize which tab you are on by color association, e.g. if you click the red tab, all the boxes below the tab bar will be red.

The actions of these buttons are universal in any list box:

- orders the item list ascending or descending (click the column titles).

- deletes any item.

- triggers the edit section of any item.

Module tab

Use the Edit/Save buttons located in the upper-right corner of this section to update its boxes.

Advanced Settings box: select the HTTP or HTTPS protocol for your public and protected pages.

Design Layouts box: change the default layouts for the content and footer sections of error pages.

Domains tab

Use the Add New button located in the upper-right corner of the Domains list box to add a new alias domain. They are also automatically collected by our system.

  • You can set your preferred version (www or non-www) as primary in the edit section of the domain.
  • All aliases are automatically 301 redirected to the primary domain.

Errors tab

Use the Search option located right above the list box to find errors by source or HTTP response status code (403, 404).

Use the Flush All button located in the upper-right corner of the list box to delete all errors.

Select multiple errors and use the Delete button located in the upper-right corner of the list box to mass delete errors.

Redirects tab

Use the Search option located right above the list box to find redirects by source, destination or HTTP response status code (301, 302).

Select multiple redirects and use the Delete button located in the upper-right corner of the list box to mass delete redirects.

Use the Add New button located in the upper-right corner of the list box to create a new redirect.

Error Pages tab

Use the Add New button located in the upper-right corner of the list box to create a new type of error page.

By default, all sections of an error page (module & footer) have their own default generic layouts. You can change these in the Module tab > Design Layouts box. To create a custom layout, learn more about the Layouts section.

Robots.txt tab

Use the Edit/Save buttons located in the upper-right corner of this section to update its boxes with instructions for the HTTP & HTTPS versions of your site).
